




Awards dinner for the 2009 fishing season was held at the Shackleton's Resturant, Franklin Square N.Y. on March 22, 2010. Once again we were very pleased to have many of our Striper Surf Club Alumni Members present at our Annual Dinner.
The Striper Surf Club finished 9th place in the NYS Surf Fishing Contest out of 17 competing clubs.

Bill Davison, 2009 New York State Surf Fishing Contest - Silver Pin for 300 Striped Bass Points, 71 Bluefish points for a total of 371 Points and a 16th place finish out of 207 contestants in the New York State contest
John Citarella, 2009 New York State Surf Fishing Contest - Silver Pin for 209 Striped Bass Points, 63 Bluefish points for a total of 272 Points and a 24th place finish out of 207 anglers in the New York State contest.
John O'Keefe, 2009 New York State Surf Fishing Contest - Silver Pin for 27 Striped Bass Points, 209 Bluefish points for a total of 236 Points and a 30th place finish out of 207 anglers in the New York State contest.
Steve Knapik, 2009 New York State Surf Fishing Contest - Bronze Pin for 101 Striped Bass Points, 67 Bluefish points for a total of 168 Points and a 42nd place finish out of 207 anglers in the New York State contest.
