Awards dinner for the 2011 fishing season was held at the Piccola Bussola Restaurant, Mineola N.Y. on March 26, 2012.  Once again we were very pleased to have a few of our Striper Surf Club Alumni Members present at our Annual Dinner.

 The Striper Surf Club finished 6th place in the 2011 NYS Surf Fishing Contest

out of 16 competing clubs.

Congratulations to the Striper Surf Club Fisherman who received the following 2011 awards:

Bill Davison, 2011 New York State Surf Fishing Contest -  Silver Pin for 65 Striped Bass Points, 208 Bluefish points for a total of 273 Points and a 18th place finish out of 160 contestants in the New York State contest

John Citarella, 2011 New York State Surf Fishing Contest - Silver Pin  for 106 Striped Bass Points, 158 Bluefish points for a total of 264 Points and a 20th place finish out of 160 anglers in the New York State contest.

Rick Zappala, 2011 New York State Surf Fishing Contest -  Silver Pin for 171 Striped Bass Points, 62 Bluefish points for a total of 233 Points and a 23rd place finish out of 160 contestants in the New York State contest

Nick Gianakos, 2011 New York State Surf Fishing Contest -  Silver Pin for 193 Striped Bass Points, 33 Bluefish points for a total of 226 Points and a 25th place finish out of 160 contestants in the New York State contest

Jim Jaget, 2011 New York State Surf Fishing Contest - Silver Pin for 91Striped Bass Points, 131 Bluefish points for a total of 222 Points and a 26th place finish out of 160 contestants in the New York State contest

 Bill Davison, "2011 Mr. Striper Surf Club Award" for Outstanding performance New York State Surf Fishing Contest, Striped Bass 65 Points, Bluefish 208 Points, Total 273 points.

 Rick Zappala 2011 Striper Surf Club, Inc. Largest Striped Bass 23 LBS., Eastern Seaboard, New York State.

 Nick Gianakos, 2011 Striper Surf Club, Inc. First Place for Most Striped Bass, 6 Striped Bass at 97 pounds total Eastern Seaboard, New York State.

Rick Zappala 2011 Striper Surf Club, Inc. Second Place for Most Striped Bass, 4 Striped Bass at 78 pounds total Eastern Seaboard, New York State

  Charles DeVerna, 2011 Striper Surf Club, Inc. Third Place for Most Striped Bass, 3 Striped Bass at 58 pounds total Eastern Seaboard, New York State
