January 12, 2008  - Montauk Surfcasters Association meeting Time: 11 A.M. Place: Sport Fishing Education Center, Cedar Beach Marine Ocean Parkway, Town of Babylon .  Find out what the Coalition is working on and what is planned for the coming year. Hero and soda for lunch. Dues are due.
 

January 18 - 20, 2008  - 15th Annual Outdoor Expo @  Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY

January 25- 27, 2008 -  Long Island Recreational Fishing Expo @ Farmingdale State University: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

February 15 - 17, 2008 - N.Y. Sport fishing Federation Show @ Freeport Recreation Center, Freeport, NY

March 9, 2008- LIBBA 50th Annual Meeting @ the Ancient Order of Hibernians Hall, 27 Locust Avenue, Babylon NY. Starts at 11:00 a.m.

April 5, 2008 - LIBBA Surf Fishing Seminar @ the Sweeney Center. 

April 12, 2008 - STRIPER SURF CLUB 7th ANNUAL BEACH CLEAN UP AT JONES BEACH WEST END 2 CONSTRUCTION DOCK PARKING LOT FROM 8:30 A.M. TILL 12 NOON

April 13, 2008 - LIBBA grass planting @ Captree 9 am.
 

April 27, 2008 - LIBBA Grass Planting Robert Moses State Park 9am Field 2 

May 17, 2008 - LIBBA Clean up Montauk Shagwong County Park 9am.

May 17, 2008 - Long Beach 1st Annual Beach Clean Up - Hosted by West End Bait & Tackle

Time: Starts @ 10am - End ?  - Food and drinks will be served for all that show
Where: Meet at the shop 852 West Beech St, Long Beach NY 11561
From here we will split up and stomp the beach Make sure you bring a rod with you!

To Be Announced- Long Island Pint Fling and Holiday Spirit - The Striper Surf Club once again is inviting all surf fishermen to the 2008 “Pint Fling” to benefit LIBBA’s Operation Holiday Spirit and to say hello to all our surf fishing friends! Admission is $5.00 to cover the cost of buying food. Hero Sandwiches, salads and chips will be provided. A cash bar is available.
